 NEIL MALLETT

Neil Mallett grew up on a small farm in Sebec, Maine, one of 5 brothers.  Neil attended public schools in Sebec, graduated from Foxcroft Academy and received his Bachelors Degree from Husson College in Bangor.   During this time, Neil was engaged in the  music business as one half of the Mallett Brothers along with his brother Dave Mallett, who went on to a successful career as a nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter.
After college,  Neil taught High School English for several years in the Newport area, while, at the same time, maintaining a real estate office in his home, along with his wife, Patricia and his mother, Pauline.  Together, they built a strong reputation for hard work, honesty and an understanding of the needs of their real estate clients  in  a rural part of Maine.
In 1994, Neil and Patricia moved their office out of their home, where it had been for  23 years, to a new office downtown.  There, they have continued to serve  the residents of the Central Maine area in their unique personal way, providing the very best in service to their clients and customers.

WALTER BOOMSMA

Life is best when everybody wins! That understanding served me well as I worked in retail sales, national account management, sales and management training and organization development.  My career in consulting began in 1985 with the personal mission of developing individual and organization effectiveness. I developed a number of training programs and worked with organizations to implement systems, policies and procedures to support learning and allow employees to excel. One of my favorite management development classes I conducted in a cemetery. As a featured keynote speaker I’ve addressed numerous companies, associations, civic and educational groups on subjects like choosing attitudes, starting your own business, leadership, and the motivation to learn. Currently my focus is teaching real estate licensing courses with the Arthur Gary School of Real Estate. I also substitute teach at Piscataquis Community Elementary School grades kindergarten through six and offer courses through several adult education programs. I pride myself on a constantly fresh outlook and a deep love of learning—and it’s my goal to foster that for students of all ages.”  While my time is limited, I do occasionally accept real estate clients interested in buying or selling and offer the same fresh outlooks, a consultative approach, and full determination to help those clients achieve a successful transaction.
